“…your dreams can live outside of your sleep.”

Past experiences do not have to define who you are today, so why not take control of who you want to be?

A passion for speaking up

Society tells us to embrace mediocrity, using past experiences as an excuse. I am challenging this mindset with my own: use your past as fuel to reach your goals, continually surpassing mediocrity.

Identity: embracing change

Full potential cannot be reached until stagnant identities are shed.

Faith: in the midst of a secular world

Finding God in today’s society does not have to be difficult, we just have to be open to finding Him in new places.

Athletics: takeaways and leaves

Sports teach us many lessons, and these can either be transferred from, or left with your sport.

Gen-Z Lifestyle: myths and stereotypes

Gen-Z is looking for contentment, and they find it many places – both positive and negative.

Embracing Suffering: a joyful experience

Redemptive suffering is a great Catholic practice, and it can be incorporated into all aspects of life.

Healing: thriving, not just surviving

My adoption plays a huge part in my identity today, but it does not plague my thoughts. This can be said about the past experiences of everyone.

My Speaking Experiences

I have a goal of being a motivational speaker, and these are some of my opportunities thus far!

Ledgerfest: St. Mary’s Springs Academy

I was fortunate enough to speak for my high school’s annual gala. My speech was about my experience at SMSA, and my gratitude for the school.

Charis Pregnancy Help Center

I was asked to be the keynote speaker for Charis Pregnancy and Family Help Center in Fond du Lac, a non-profit organization. I spoke about my experience in foster care and hope despite less-than ideal circumstances.

2024 Summer Leadership Academy: Mount Mary University

I spoke with over 90 women about change in identity as a leader at Mount Mary University Women’s Leadership Institute’s Summer Leadership Academy. As a former participant and mentor, I was able to relate to the girls in a personal way and share a little bit about my own identity as a leader!

Holy Family Catholic Church

I was blessed to speak at Holy Family’s women’s ministry retreat in January 2026. I spoke on my experience in foster care, and how God’s mercy and love has allowed me to practice redemptive suffering.

“Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up.”
